Spring heat treatment process

- Jun 13, 2018-

The spring heat treatment process is mainly based on the type of spring material and processing conditions, and can be summarized into three types.

The first type: any spring made of cold-formed steel wire, such as carbon spring wire, important-use carbon spring steel wire, steel wire, oil quenched and tempered spring steel wire and steel tape Stress relief annealing

Qin (commonly known as stereotyped temper) processing.

The second type: Springs that are cold-rolled with hot-formed and annealed material are quenched and tempered.

The third type: Springs made of austenitic stainless steels, precipitation-hardened stainless steel wires, steel strips, and copper-nickel alloy materials that have been solution-treated and cold-strengthened in a cold forming process are subjected to age-hardening after forming.
